LGBTQ rights: Poland wants to enable registered partnerships


Warsaw – The pro-European government in Poland introduced a draft law into parliament on Tuesday that would allow registered partnerships – including for same-sex couples. The bill would, among other things, give couples access to each other’s medical information. It would also make it possible to inherit assets and file a joint tax return. However, there is a threat of a presidential veto.
