Eduardo Costa thanked the Acre public for the warm reception and said he was an admirer of local culture. “I am passionate about this state, about all the culture that exists here, and being able to be here today celebrating the arrival of 2026 is very special,” he said. According to the singer, 2025 was a spectacular year, and the expectation is that the new year will be marked by happiness and prosperity for everyone.
During his speech, the artist reinforced the importance of faith to start the year with good energy. “Starting a year on the right foot is starting a year with God, with the Eternal living inside our homes”, he said, wishing peace, unity and new opportunities to reunite with the public of Cruzeiro do Sul.
Asked about the repertoire presented on the traditional New Year’s Eve stage, Eduardo Costa highlighted that it maintains the essence of romantic and traditional country music. According to him, the show is based mainly on songs that marked his career, valuing the country music roots, with romantic songs and without the influence of university country music.
In closing, the singer wished the population a happy new year, thanked Acre and Cruzeiro do Sul for their welcome and expressed his desire to return to the city soon.
