Six bets matched the Mega da Virada 2025 numbers and shared the biggest prize in history, R$1.09 billion.
According to Caixa, two winning bets were on pools in Ponta Porã (MS) and Franco da Rocha (SP). There was also a winner in João Pessoa (PB) and three others who played the games via electronic channel.
As there was more than one winner, the winners will share the prize and each will take home R$181,892,881.09.
For the 3,921 games that matched the corner (five numbers), the second prize bracket, the cash jackpot is R$11,931.42 each. The quadrant or third bracket, which rewards those who match four numbers, will pay R$216.76 to each of the 308,315 winners
The 17th edition of Mega da Virada recorded more than R$3 billion in revenue, which represents 22.6% more than what was raised in 2024.
The numbers drawn were: 59 – 21 – 32 – 13 – 33 – 09.
The Mega da Virada prize pool does not accumulate. If no one guesses all six numbers correctly, the amount will be divided between those who guess correctly, according to the rules of the special contest.
Prizes expire 90 days after the draw date. After this period, the amounts are transferred to the National Treasury for investment in the Higher Education Student Financing Fund (Fies).
Initially, the draw would be held on the last day of the year, as usual, but Caixa reported that there were operational problems due to the huge volume of bets arriving in the system and, therefore, it chose to postpone the ceremony until this morning.
The numbers are impressive: 120,000 transactions were carried out per second in the institution’s online system alone and another 4,745 transactions per second in lottery outlets spread across the country.
