The daughter of the well-known actor Tommy Lee Joneswas found dead in a hotel in California on the first day of the year, the . According to police sources, Victoria Jones34 years old, was found in the hallway of the luxurious Fairmont San Francisco, early on Thursday morning.
A spokesperson for the San Francisco Fire Department confirmed to TMZ that emergency crews were called to the hotel at 2:52 a.m. due to a “medical emergency.” At 3:14 am, San Francisco Police officers went to the hotel after receiving the death alert.
According to , it was another hotel guest who alerted the police, after finding Victoria Jones unconscious in a corridor.
The agents met at the hotel with paramedics, who confirmed the death. The scene was then turned over to the San Francisco Police Department and the Medical Examiner’s Office, who began an investigation. So far, the cause of death remains unknownand authorities did not release further details.
Victoria was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his first wife, Kimberlea Cloughley. She followed, albeit briefly, in her father’s footsteps, having debuted as an actress in “Men in Black II”, in 2002, before reaching adolescence.
