The dictator reached this Saturday (3) at around 6:30 pm (Brasília time), however, he only disembarked the aircraft at 7:26 pm. Escorted by several FBI and DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) agents, the dictator was taken to a specific wing of the airport where, according to the international press, he will be taken by helicopter to New York, where he will be detained until he is tried for drug trafficking, a crime for which he is convicted by the United States.

The images from the moment of disembarkation show that Maduro was handcuffed, apparently by his hands and also by his feet, something common done by the US armed forces when transporting prisoners, and was wearing a light sweatshirt like the one he wore in the photo that was released by the President of the United States, Donald Trump.
