USA reduces number of recommended vaccinations for children


Washington – In a drastic about-face, the US administration of President Donald Trump has revised the state’s vaccination plan for children. As the US Department of Health announced on Monday, the number of vaccinations recommended for all children will be reduced in the future. Accordingly, the previously recommended vaccination against four diseases – rotavirus, influenza, meningococci and hepatitis A – has been removed from the vaccination plan. Similar decisions had previously been criticized by many experts.
