The board of the US media group Warner Bros. Discovery is recommending that its shareholders also reject the new takeover offer from Paramount Skydance, even though the father of Skydance owner David Ellison – Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison – had given a personal financing guarantee for it. The rejection was explained by the risks of the planned deal.
