Chinese hackers “Salt Typhoon” crack emails of US committee staff

According to a report by the Chinese hacker group Financial Times (FT) Gained access to email accounts of employees of influential committees in the US House of Representatives. As the paper reported on Wednesday, citing informed circles, the group under the code name “Salt Typhoon” is suspected of having carried out targeted cyber espionage.
