“The right to information constitutes a direct expression of the dignity of the human person and is part of the minimum set of guarantees guaranteed to those in state custody,” said the defense.

According to the request, Bolsonaro wants to have access to streaming platforms and networks such as YouTube to follow news.
“Access to the media, especially journalistic and informative programming, represents a legitimate instrument for preserving the custodian’s link with the social, political and institutional reality of the country”, say the lawyers.
