Today it is known that this device should not dominate the room because it disturbs the functionality of the room, but above all, it negatively affects eye health. We present places where you should not place a TV.
In the past, it was placed in the central point of the room, so on the largest wall opposite the couch. We consider this a mistake, because it makes the interior less cozy and looks technical. Moreover, the proportions of the room are disturbed.
Another mistake is placing the device in a place where sunlight is reflected from it. Then the contrast deteriorates. Plus, it’s tiring for the eyes. In such a case, you should install blinds or install a blackout screen.
Experts do not recommend placing the TV in the corner of the room. This then leads to an uncomfortable arrangement of the sofa. The light is taken away and the entire interior looks chaotic because we focus our attention on the least attractive part of the room. There should be a plant or lamp in the corner, not a big black screen.
It is also not recommended to place the equipment at too high a height. After just 20 minutes it is tiring for the neck. Moreover, the image looks unnatural and the interior becomes less cozy. Therefore, the TV should be at the eye level of a sitting person.
Nowadays, the living room is treated as a place of rest. After all, we are overstimulated with screens that surround us on all sides. We are talking about smartphones and laptops, also often used at work.
Therefore, it is best to place the TV on the side wall. This is the perfect solution to achieve peace, but also to improve the aesthetics of the room and gain a homely, cozy atmosphere.
A great solution is to hide the device in a bright TV cabinet. We can also place them on a swivel holder, thanks to which we can hide the equipment deep in the arrangement. It will not be visible in the foreground – after all, this is the effect we want to achieve.
