Two former maids at the Spanish singer’s mansions reported alleged sexual abuse that occurred in 2021.
Julio Iglesiasone of the most renowned Spanish singers, now 82 years old, is being accused of sexual abuse.
Two former employees – one a maid and the other a physiotherapist – of the singer in the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas describe a professional environment marked by isolation, control and recurring situations of sexual harassment.
The revelation was made this Tuesday in an investigation by , which took place for more than three years. The same newspaper adds that the facts date back to 2021, when Julio Iglesias was 77 years old.
One of the victims says that she was called to the singer’s room on several occasions, where she was subject to sexual acts without consent and physical and verbal violence: “I didn’t have the option to say no.”
Other details episodes of unwanted physical contact during working hours, including forced kisses and touching the body against your will.
“There were girls who couldn’t say no. He did whatever he wanted with them,” he declared.
It is also revealed that during the recruitmentthe candidates were subject to gynecological evaluations and STD testing (sexually transmitted diseases).
The victims also said that there was a constant feeling of pressure and submission.
