Fabrício Gomes da Silva was found in a forested area in Embu-Guaçu, São Paulo, with marks of torture and head trauma
The São Paulo police suspect that the First Command of the Capital (PCC) ordered the murder of a PM. . According to a preliminary report, he had head trauma and signs of torture. Burial took place on Monday afternoon (12). Three PCC leaders would have given the execution order, according to the investigation. The crime would be motivated by his being a police officer in an area dominated by drug trafficking.
In a statement, the Public Security Secretariat lamented the police officer’s death and reported that investigations are ongoing to identify and hold everyone involved in the crime accountable. So far, four suspects have been temporarily arrested, including the owner of the place where the body was found. The two men responsible for the torture and execution of the police officer, however, have not yet been arrested.
The body was located after the Riot Police Command received an anonymous tip. According to the report, the police officer was placed in a bag and transported in a silver Volkswagen Gol by two men to a farm on the Charqueado road. A third suspect, who was said to be in a red Ford Fiesta, would also have participated in the action.
Fabrício had a civil marriage scheduled for two after disappearing. He was on vacation and had gone to visit his son and father near Estrada do M´Boi Mirim. He disappeared on Wednesday (7) in the South Zone. His car was found the following day, charred.
