Santos will count on Rony in the 2026 season. The team reached an agreement to sign the striker, who already said goodbye to his teammates and Atlético-MG employees this Tuesday (27).
When will Rony perform at Santos?
According to ESPN, Rony will perform in Santos, at CT Rei Pelé, this Thursday (29/1). The operation should be worth around 3 million euros (R$ 18 million), plus bonuses provided for in a previously agreed three-year contract with the player.
The player should not even be listed by coach Jorge Sampaoli for the match against Palmeiras, scheduled for Wednesday, at 7pm (Brasília time), at Arena MRV, for the first round of the Brasileirão.
Rony will join Juan Pablo Vojvoda’s squad to fill the vacancy left by Guilherme, who was traded to Houston Dynamo, from the United States.
