Minimum wage of R$1,621 starts to be paid this Monday

The new minimum wage of R$1,621 begins to be paid to workers this Monday (2). The value can be verified in the paycheck for January.

O adjustment of 6.79%, equivalent to R$103was made official by Decree 12,797/2025. Increase combines inflation (INPC) and GDP growth, respecting the limits of the fiscal frameworkwhich restricts the adjustment to 2.5% above the previous year’s inflation.

Os INSS retirees and pensioners began to receive the new minimum wage on the 26th. Payment continues until Friday (6), according to the final card number, without considering the check digit.
