The minister of the (Supreme Federal Court) suspended this Thursday (5) the so-called penduricalhos in the three Powers of the Republic. The judge gives 60 days for all administration bodies to review funds paid and suspend those without legal basis.
According to the decision, only compensation installments expressly provided for by law can be outside the ceiling, arguing that this would be in accordance with the understanding already consolidated by the STF.
Dino also demands that the National Congress issue the law that regulates which compensation amounts can exceed the ceiling.
The decision will be submitted to the STF plenary on a date to be defined by the president of the court, Luiz Edson Fachin.
Among the funds considered trinkets by Dino are the so-called turkey aid and panettone aid, distributed to servers traditionally at the end of the year. The minister also mentions the payment of bonuses for the accumulation of processes, vacations and functions. mobility allowance, fuel allowance and education allowance.
According to Dino, funds of this nature that are not expressly provided for in law approved by the National Congress, state Legislative Assemblies and Municipal Chambers must be suspended.
