Of the 8 tucano state deputies in Alesp (Legislative Assembly of São Paulo), Rogério Nogueira, Carlão Pignatari, Barros Munhoz, Analice Fernandes, Maria Lúcia Amary and Mauro Bragato committed to going to the PSD, as did Dirceu Dalben, from Cidadania.
The affiliation ceremony is scheduled for March 4, during the party window, at the PSD headquarters in the capital of São Paulo. “Until then, I believe that other names will emerge for the change of party,” said Nogueira, leader of the PSDB in Alesp.
“I’m going to the PSD by logic, I prefer to remain in the center. The PSDB is over, and I wouldn’t go to the PL, União Brasil or to the left,” said Bragato.
Today, the PSD bench in Alesp is made up of four deputies. “We will be together, working for an increasingly stronger PSD, with qualified leaders and electoral success in October”, wrote Kassab on his social networks.
The PSDB, with the departure of the six deputies, continues with only Bruna Furlan and Carla Morando. However, Bruna received invitations from other parties, and Morando has already stated that he will leave the party.
Morando will be able to go to the MDB, the likely destination of her husband, the capital’s Secretary of Security, Orlando Morando.
To the Panel, the president of the PSDB in the state of São Paulo, Paulinho Serra, stated that he is working to end the year with at least five deputies. To do so, he estimated he would lose, at most, six deputies.
“The PSDB is in a reconstruction process to regain its protagonism. We should receive three deputies during the window”, stated Serra. One of those who should join the party is the leader’s wife, Ana Carolina Serra, currently at Cidadania.
