“Madrid has always looked with admiration at the USA” and, therefore, will award the International Medal of the Community of Madrid.
The independence of the United States of America was declared on July 4, 1776. In other words, this July marks 250 years since that historic day.
To mark the date, the Government of Madrid decided to pay homage to the North American country: it will give USA the International Medal of the Community of Madrid.
The Community of Madrid considers that the USA is the “main beacon of the free world”explained the president Isabel Diaz Ayuso.
Ayuso made the announcement directly from Florida, USA, at an awards ceremony organized by a Spanish group: “Madrid has always looked with admiration at the USA”says the radio .
In the same speech, the president of Madrid called for the end of “ultra-left narco-states”, also saying that Venezuela is the “most important wound” that needs to be healed.

Hugo only drew a positive conclusion, with irony: “The only good part is that Trump doesn’t even know who this lady is (Ayuzo)”.
