Livigno – For the approximately 35 kilometers from Bormio to Livigno near the Swiss border, the large coach on line two takes a good one and a half hours under ideal conditions. There are what feels like 2,000 curves on the path, and you shouldn’t start the journey over the Passo di Foscagno (2,291 m) and the Passo d’Eira (2,210 m) to get from Bormio (1,225 meters above sea level) to Livigno (1,800 m) with a sinking feeling in your stomach.
