Berlin – US director Steven Spielberg and his wife donated money to the family after the death of “Dawson’s Creek” star James Van Der Beek, according to media reports. By Friday, a total of over two million US dollars (around 1.7 million euros) had been raised in a fundraising campaign to support the family, as the industry magazine “The Hollywood Reporter” wrote, among others.
