The influencer and funk singer Pear Woman staged a moment of tension before the school parade Mocidade Unida da Moocain São Paulo. According to the artist herself, she was prevented from getting on the float for wearing a different costume than the one previously defined by the club.

According to videos published by her on social media, the confusion started because she decided not to wear the original costume. The artist stated that didn’t like the clothes sent by the school and, therefore, chose to acquire a new production on its own. “I bought the sketch, but when I saw the costume I thought it was a mess,” he declared in one of the records. Faced with dissatisfaction, she chose a “fire” themed costumereplacing the official costume that would be used as a highlight in the car.
Upon arriving for the fashion show with her new clothes, Mulher Pêra said she was immediately blocked and informed that she would not be able to get on the float with that costume. After a few minutes of discussion, members of the school suggested that she parade in another car. However, the artist said she did not feel comfortable with the proposal, claiming that “it wouldn’t even appear” in the new position.
During the impasse, according to her, a member of the school stated that her attitude represented disrespect for the association and also accused her of being late for the meeting. Mulher Pêra, in turn, countered by saying that everything was lined up beforehandthat he maintained frequent contact with his advisor and that there were no pending issues or problems related to the schedule.
In another video recorded after the incident, the artist reinforced her version of the events and explained that changing the costume was a personal decision as she did not identify with the original costume. The episode generated repercussions on social media and divided opinions among followers, with debates about internal rules of samba schools and the freedom of guest artists in choosing their costumes.
