An action by the Federal Highway Police resulted in the seizure of 6.15 kilos of narcotics on Saturday night (14), around 9:30 pm, at Km 683 of BR-364, in

During static inspection, with support from the Acre Military Police kennel, an interstate bus was approached. The passengers disembarked with their luggage for investigation with the sniffer dog. Upon inspection, officers located a backpack left inside the vehicle.
The police dog indicated the presence of an illicit substance in the luggage. When the agents opened the backpack, they found four tablets of cocaine base paste and two tablets of cocaine hydrochloride. The preliminary test (narcotest) confirmed the nature of the material.
In total, 4.1 kilos of base paste and 2.05 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride were seized, totaling 6.15 kilos of drugs. A cell phone and two backpacks were also collected.
A 16-year-old teenager took ownership of the material and, together with a man who accompanied her, was taken to the Acre Civil Police station for the appropriate procedures. According to information provided by the PRF, the drugs were destined for the municipality of Tarauacá.
Those involved were transported in separate vehicles, without the use of handcuffs. The Guardianship Council was called to monitor the case, as required by law.
