Kidnapped, raped and trafficked teenager tells how Epstein’s scheme worked

“I quickly realized it wasn’t a modeling opportunity. I was kidnapped.” A survivor of Jeffrey Epstein’s child sex trafficking network explains how she was groomed, trafficked from South Africa and raped on the billionaire’s island.

In an interview with , the South African Juliette Bryant says he met Jeffrey Epstein when I was 20 years old. At the time, he was a psychology and philosophy student in Cape Town, South Africa, and worked in part-time as a model.

The first contact with the North American sexual abuser happened on a night out, where he was approached by a girl who offered to introduce her to a man she described at the time as being “american royalty“.

“She told me she knew a man who was the ‘King of America‘, who was there with Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey e Chris Tucker. He told me that his best friend, Leslie Wexner, owner of Victoria’s Secret and that it would be a really good idea for me to meet them, because it could help my modeling career,” Bryant said.

“That’s whyWe went to the restaurant where they were having dinnerright there at the foot. And there they were, indeed. Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey, Chris Tucker, Jeffrey Epstein and some South African government officials.”

Bryant does not accuse Clinton, Spacey or Tucker of any irregularity, and mentions that his interaction with the men at the table was brief, about 5 minutes. But the next day he received a call from the girl who made the presentations, to inform that Epstein would like to see your portfolio model.

“He told me that Epstein thought I would be perfect for Victoria’s Secret, and that they were gone that day, but his office started calling and taking care of the visa, tickets and everything“, remembers Bryant.

“He knows, I didn’t have money or anythingbut they told me not to worry, that they would deduct all my expenses from my income that I would win when I was there”, details Juliette Bryant, of South African nationality, who says she was surprised by the speed with which Epstein managed to arrange his trip to the United States.

“They tried to get me a visa to come to America. It was something like a tourist visa… and they got these visas very quickly, which is unusual in South Africa. It is usually very difficult to get a visa here. And then, basically in three weeks, I was in America,” he said.

Several emails included in the set of Epstein-related documents released by the Justice Department and reviewed by CBS News appear to evidence a pattern of Epstein helping or receiving counseling legal about how to get visas for young womens entering the US, including from Eastern European countries.

Shortly after arriving in New York, Bryant says, they told him thatand would go to the Caribbean, to Epstein’s private island. “I naturally assumed that it was for a mod photo shoota”.

“We went to Teterboro Airport and they were waiting on the planeand, you know, no check was ever made at any of these airports. They didn’t check our passports, our luggage, anything”, notes the South African.

Bryant says that once on board, he took the passportand that was then sexually assaulted.

“When the plane took off, the Epstein started touching me forcibly between the legs. I panicked, and realized: This is not a modeling opportunityI was kidnapped”, he says.

“They took me to the island and I was stuck there. They never gave me any modeling opportunities; I was completely deceived,” says Bryant, who says she spent the next few years of her life being trafficked by Epstein.

Juliette Bryant ended up being compensatedfirst under the Epstein Victims Compensation Program in 2020, and later through a separate agreement with JP Morgan Chaseem 2023.

Bryant’s account of where he first met Epstein coincides with a period during which he Epstein lent his plane to former President Bill Clinton as part of a Clinton Foundation trip to Africa.

Public flight records reviewed by CBS News show that Clinton left for a nine day trip to Africa with Spacey and Tucker, on Epstein’s private plane, in September 2002, having visited Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda, Mozambique and South Africa.

KFF Health News reported at the time that Clinton, Tucker and Spacey were participating in a Clinton Foundation trip to “promote the fight against HIV/AIDS and economic development.”

In a sworn statement to the House Oversight Committee in January, Clinton claimed that Epstein offered the use of his private plane to himself, his staff and his Secret Service agents in support of the philanthropic work of the Clinton Foundation between 2002 and 2003.

Clinton denied ever visiting the private island of Epstein in the US Virgin Islands, where many of the crimes occurred of the late financier, and assured that he had not been in contact with the convicted pedophile for more than a decade before his arrest in 2019.
