Sánchez announces the declassification of the 23-F documents to “settle a historical debt with the citizens”
The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, announced this Monday that on Tuesday, in the Council of Ministers, the Executive will declassify the 23-F documents. In a message on This Monday marks 45 years since the attempted coup d’état carried out by Civil Guard Lieutenant Colonel Antonio Tejero.
In a message sent to the media in parallel to the president’s tweet, the Government specifies that the declassification of the documents “will become effective next Wednesday the 25th, with their publication in the Official State Gazette.” Once declassified, they will be available to the public on the website.
