New Release of Epstein Files Shows Peter Attia Exchanged Lewd Messages with Sex Offender
Doctor Peter Attia has resigned from his position as a contributor at CBS News following new revelations about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
“Attia’s contributor role was newly created and had not yet truly begun,” a spokesperson for Attia said in a statement.
“As such, he stepped aside to ensure that his involvement does not become a distraction from the important work being done at CBS. He wishes the network and its leadership all the best and has no further comment at this time.”
In recently released documents from the Epstein files, Attia and the convicted felon exchanged personal and lewd messages with each other.
For example, Attia in 2016: “Vagina is actually low in carbohydrates. However, I’m still waiting for the results on the gluten content.”
Attia, an influencer specializing in longevity medicine, was one of those named in January as part of Bari Weiss’ new strategy for CBS News.
During an all-hands meeting in January, Weiss previewed the new group of contributors as “just the beginning,” encouraging the network “to use them effectively.” Even as Weiss promoted the changes to employees – her first major move since taking over as leader in October – the executive signaled the need for change at Tiffany Network.
“Our strategy so far has been to cling to the public that still watches open television,” he said at the meeting. “If we continue with this strategy, we are lost.”
Even with Attia for his staff and patients, Weiss seemed inclined to allow the doctor to remain a contributor to the network.
He had on Weiss’ podcast “Honestly,” before Weiss became head of CBS News. She had stated that Attia “consistently cuts through all that noise” in the health and wellness industry.

Attia’s appearance in the Epstein files sparked a . In a statement to X in February, the doctor said he was not involved in any criminal activity and was never on the convicted sex offender’s plane, island or sex parties. Attia was not accused of any wrongdoing.
“To be clear, I have never witnessed illegal behavior and have never seen anyone who appeared underage in your presence,” he wrote.
Attia also resigned as Chief Scientific Officer at David’s protein bar, the company’s CEO wrote.
