For many years I have been cleaning grout only with this. It eats away even the heaviest dirt

So clean the joints in 10 minutes. Homemade paste will remove any dirt

Grease accumulates in kitchen grout in the blink of an eye. In turn, the floor ones contain sand, dust and mud, and the bathroom ones contain sediment from cosmetics. Additionally, there are water stains. This mixture turns them gray and looks unsightly. That’s why it’s so important to clean them regularly.

Don’t go to the store specifically for an expensive cleaning product. Use the products you have in your kitchen or bathroom. There are plenty of home ways to clean joints. My favorite is the one with baking soda and .

Baking soda is slightly alkaline, that’s why dissolves greasy dirt and deposits accumulated in joints. Moreover, it has abrasive properties due to its powdered consistency. It can therefore mechanically remove dirt while scrubbing.

Hydrogen peroxide, in turn, is famous for its bleaching and oxidizing properties. Therefore, it brightens discolorations and spots. Additionally, it has antibacterial and antifungal properties, so it protects against the growth of mold in the cracks of the tiles.

When we combine baking soda with hydrogen peroxide, an active paste will be created that will clean, whiten and disinfect joints. Thanks to it, they will look like new.

So how to clean grout with this mixture? Just mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 10 drops of hydrogen peroxide. Apply the resulting paste to dirty joints and wait 10 minutes. After this time, we scrub them with a soft toothbrush and finally wipe them gently with a cloth. This home method will work for light grout, e.g. white, beige or light gray.
