Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), Ghostface victim from the very beginning, was not granted a particularly long break. She was only allowed to skip one film until the killer in the Billo Halloween costume came after her again. This time her daughter Tatum (Isabel May), who happens to be the same age as Sidney when she suffered the brutal attacks in the first part of the film, is there Screamseries survived. Since 1996, meta-horror films have kept the slasher business alive with stabbed bodies, rolled-out intestines and impaled skulls. The premise is also quite a good one: Ghostface, the murderer who announces himself via phone call, can be anyone and everyone thanks to the mask. So there is an endless range of possibilities, or at least enough to make seven films over thirty years.
