The New Party announced this Thursday (26) support for the campaign of the governor of São PauloTarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), for re-election. Alongside leaders of the party, the head of the São Paulo Executive declared that he “welcomes with joy” the support of the party in the dispute for Palácio dos Bandeirantes.
“It is a party for which I have great admiration for the quality of the staff it has created over time, the performance of its parliamentarians, the constancy of its proposals, its commitment to our state of São Paulo and to Brazil”, said Tarcísio.
Initially, the federal deputy Ricardo Salles (Novo-SP) was tipped to run for the São Paulo government by the caption. In a meeting with Tarcísio, state deputy Leonardo Siqueira, president of Nacional do Novo, Eduardo Ribeiro, the head of the São Paulo directory, Fernando Henrique Meira de Castro, it was decided that the former minister in the government of Jair Bolsonaro will run for one of the two SP seats in the Senate.
