The last EuroMillions draw ended with no totals, but left a second prize in Portugal worth 75,686.56 euros. With no one matching the complete combination, the jackpot rises again and, in the next draw, 174 million euros will be at stake.

According to , there was no bettor matching the five numbers and two stars necessary to win the R$159 million at stake this Friday. The amount thus accumulates for the next draw.

Despite the absence of a first prize winner, Portugal appears on the list of countries with relevant prizes awarded. Among the 14 second prizes registered at European level, one was validated on national territory.

A second award registered in Portugal

According to the same source, each of the second prizes has a value of 75,686.56 euros. One of these prizes came out in Portugal, allowing February to end with a significant prize for a national bettor.

Furthermore, two of the 31 third prizes awarded in the draw were also registered in Portugal. Each of these corresponds to the amount of 7,988.66 euros.

The draw did not produce new millionaires, but distributed intermediate prizes that left the country represented among those awarded.

The draw key

The winning combination was made up of the numbers 14, 24, 27, 39 and 42, and the stars 6 and 10.

To win the first prize you need to get all of these keys right. Any difference automatically leads to a lower award tier.

With the jackpot without a winner, the amount at stake increases to 174 million euros in the next draw, scheduled for Tuesday.

Tax on high premiums

It is important to remember that, in Portugal, prizes exceeding 5,000 euros are subject to stamp duty at a rate of 20 percent, in accordance with current legislation.

This tax is applied to the total value of the prize awarded, reducing the net value received by the winner.

With no totalists in the last draw, February ends with the jackpot on the rise and with a relevant prize awarded on national territory. Expectations now focus again on the next draw, where the accumulated value could transform a single ticket into an exceptionally large prize.
