The biggest records in Oscar history: films that won the most awards

Every year some productions stand out in the Oscar by being nominated for numerous categories. However, there are few who win most of the nominations and take home a high number of statuettes.

Since 1929, when the first awards ceremony took place, they have become the most awarded in the world.

Among them, stand out “Ben-Hur” (1967), “Titanic” (1997) e “Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” (2003). Tied in numbers, the three took eleven figurines do Oscar.
