Ski jumper Tschofenig hits back after bitter weeks and wins in Lahti


Lahti – Daniel Tschofenig celebrated his third win of the season one day after placing second in Lahti, making it the 300th individual World Cup victory for an Austrian ski jumper. The Carinthian won on Saturday by a slim 0.6 points ahead of the newly crowned overall winner Domen Prevc from Slovenia. Third, 3.2 points behind, was the Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi, who was still leading after the first round. The second best Austrian was Jan Hörl in sixth place.
