Cleitinho cited an event in London financed by Banco Master in 2024 that cost R$3.2 million and called for impeachment
The senator (Republicanos-MG) took a bottle of Macallan whiskey to the plenary of the Federal Senate on Wednesday night (11 March 2026) to protest against ministers of the (Federal Supreme Court). In his speech, the senator mentioned an event in London, financed by the by Daniel Vorcaro, in 2024.
At the event, several Brazilian authorities were present to taste the whiskey, which cost, in total, around R$3.2 million. As shown by the Poder360, the ministers e . According to Cleitinho, the money spent to buy the drink “it wasn’t honest”. He called for impeachment of the ministers.
The congressman stated that a common citizen, who pays his taxes “sweaty and honest”would not finance events of this magnitude for authorities. For him, the episode represents an affront to the population.
“[…] That money isn’t his, it wasn’t hard-earned, it wasn’t honest. This money belongs to the people! So, it is now up to the senators of the Republic, both left and right, to do justice in this country and guide the impeachment of these ministers as quickly as possible”said the senator during his speech.

WHISKY MACALLAN
As shown by Poder360, Alexandre de Moraes participated, on April 25, 2024, in a tasting of the celebrated Macallan whiskey in London. At his side was businessman Daniel Vorcaro, then controller of Banco Master, and the general director of the Federal Police, Andrei Rodrigues.
The meeting was held at a private club that is rented for these occasions and is located in the Mayfair region, one of the most expensive areas of the British capital. The event lasted 2 hours and, in addition to tasting Macallan, those present could smoke cigars.
The Macallan whiskey tasting cost US$640,831.88 (around R$3.2 million at the April 2024 exchange rate), according to documents from the event organization that are part of the collection sent by the Federal Police to the (National Social Security Institute).
At the end of the event, all guests received a bottle of Macallan whiskey as a gift. Not the most expensive, but a special edition. Prices for this whiskey range from approximately R$1,000 for the one aged for 12 years and can reach more than US$100,000 for the 72-year-old version, known as “Genesis Decanter”.
Around 40 people participated in the tasting paid for by Daniel Vorcaro. Among others, these authorities were at the event:
- Alexandre de Moraes – minister of the STF;
- Andrei Rodrigues – general director of the PF;
- Benedito Gonçalves – from the STJ;
- Ciro Soares – Daniel Vorcaro’s lawyer;
- Daniel Vorcaro – founder of Master, now in prison;
- Dias Toffoli – minister of the STF;
- Hugo Motta – of the Chamber;
- Paulo Gonet – Attorney General of the Republic; and
- Ricardo Lewandowski – then Minister of Justice.
