The 27-year-old Nigerian striker was surprised by the Turkish fans, who displayed a large banner in honor of his mother, who passed away when he was still a child.
Visibly emotional, Osimhen was unable to contain his tears and ended up being consoled by some teammates, in a gesture that marked the moments before kickoff.
