The model Georgina Rodríguez, 32, was present at the Valentino fashion show, in Rome, Italy, last Thursday night (13). The event was part of the closing of the Paris Fashion Week.
Although the destination was France, the luxury brand invited its spectators and models to travel to the capital of the neighboring country for the show, where the brand was created in 1960.
For the occasion, the player’s wife, 41, wore an all-black velvet outfit. To complete the look, the Argentine model chose a vintage black bag with a gold handle, shiny accessories and high-heeled shoes with an opening at the toe.
The parade took place at Palazzo Barberini, built in 1625 by order of Pope Urban VIII. The focus of the internal decoration was the contrast between the architectural styles of Gian Lorenzo Bernini and Francesco Borromini — a duality that Alessandro Michelesuccessor to , promises to be explored in the next releases.
The collection, which was named “Interferenze”, focused on fabric maximalism and was inspired by the event location itself. Most of the pieces featured cuts, lace, ruffles, drapes and heavy fabrics with fur and double stitching.
