Israel has a plan ready for another 3 weeks against Iran to “achieve its objectives”

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokeswoman Brigadier General Effie Defrin says the Israeli army has plans for at least three more weeks of operations in Iran, during which thousands of targets would be hit.

He told CNN that Israel has “thousands of targets ahead” and that the country is ready and in coordination with American allies, “with plans that extend at least until the Jewish holiday of Passover, in about three weeks.”

He also reinforced that the US and Israel have “more comprehensive plans for another three weeks beyond that”.

Defrin also told CNN that the Israel Defense Forces “are not working to a stopwatch or a schedule, but rather to achieve our objectives.”

On Friday, The Times of Israel reported that the military was preparing for another few weeks of operations in Iran, as there are still many targets to be hit, both in Tehran and other parts of the country.

Iran responds

Faced with escalating tension, Iran declared this Sunday that it will carry out an attack to kill Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, while the war between the US and Israel against Iran threatens oil supplies in the Gulf.

In the early hours of this Sunday. “The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps vows to hunt down and kill ‘child killer’ Netanyahu if he is still alive,” Iranian news agency IRNA said in a post on X, referring to the country’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
