Survey shows 17% disapproval; public safety is the top priority for the next 4 years
The survey shows that 79% of voters in Espírito Santo approve the government of (PSB). Another 17% say they disapprove of the management, while 4% did not know or did not respond. Here is the research (PDF – 6 MB).
The survey also measured the qualitative assessment of the state government. According to the data, 51% rate the administration as “excellent” or “good”, while 35% rate it as “regular”.
13% consider the government “bad” or “terrible”, and 1% did not know how to answer. The numbers indicate that the positive evaluation outweighs the negative among voters in the state.
Priorities for the next government
The survey also asked what the state government’s top priority should be over the next 4 years. Public safety appears in 1st place, cited by 28% of respondents, followed by health (19%) and economy (14%).
Other areas mentioned were education (9%), transport (8%), job creation (8%) and infrastructure (7%). Another 7% did not know or did not respond.
Sample profile
The survey also presents the profile of those interviewed: 53% are women and 47% men.
Regarding age, 47% are aged 35 to 59, 29% are aged 16 to 34 and 24% are aged 60 or over.
Regarding income, 43% receive up to 2 minimum wages, 35% have income between 2 and 5 minimum wages and 22% earn more than 5 minimum wages.
In terms of educational level, 45% have completed secondary education, 39% have completed primary education and 16% have incomplete higher education or more.
Methodology
The research was carried out by Real Time Big Data on March 13 and 14, 2026. 2,000 people were interviewed in the State of Espírito Santo. The confidence level is 95%, and the margin of error is 2 percentage points, plus or minus.
The survey is registered with the Superior Electoral Court under code: ES-06722/2026. According to the company, the study cost R$80,000 and was paid for with its own resources.
