The National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) determined this Monday (16) the recall of Impala brand gel nail polishes for containing a banned substance in cosmetics, personal hygiene products and perfumes no Brazil.

The announcement of the recall of products from the company Laboratório Avamiller de Cosméticos LTDA was published in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU).

On October 30, 2025, Anvisa published an amendment to the substances banned in cosmetics in Brazil, including INCI Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide (TPO), present in some of the brand’s nail polishes.
