The result is a natural luminosity effect that prepares the region to receive the next products more lightly. With the skin prepared, apply the base and concealer lightly, building coverage only where necessary. “Less product usually works better, because it prevents build-up and maintains the natural look for longer,” explains the makeup artist. Foundations with a fluid texture or medium coverage are the most recommended, as they spread easily and allow you to build thin layers without weighing down the finish.

5. Use contour, blush and long-lasting highlighter
After foundation and concealer come the steps that add dimension and color to the face, such as contouring, blush and highlighter. Here, each person can choose the style that best suits their style. look festival style, from a more natural look to more marked and illuminated proposals. To ensure that your makeup lasts, the tip is to choose long-lasting products, with formulas that are resistant to water, sweat and oil.
“This type of product helps maintain make beautiful for longer, even in outdoor environments”, he explains. Another tip is to apply the products in light, well-blended layers, so that they integrate better with the skin and other makeup products. This way, the finish is more natural and also longer lasting.
Sealing makeup well is an important step to ensure greater durability. “At events like Lollapalooza, with heat, sweat and many hours outdoors, it is worth applying powder all over your face to help keep your makeup in place”, explains Bruna Malheiros. The makeup artist recommends using ultra-fine, light and waterproof formulas that fix makeup without weighing it down, starting with the area below the eyes.
“I recommend specific products for the area, such as Light Up, from BM Beauty. It is enriched with hyaluronic acid, which helps maintain skin hydration while mattifying and sealing makeup”, he says. Then, on the rest of the face, you can apply a dust facial, preferably ultramicronized and enriched with niacinamide, which helps mattify the skin and control oil without compromising comfort.
7. Eyes and lips also require resistant formulas
After sealing the skin, it’s time to finish the eye and lip makeup, stages in which the style can vary according to each person’s proposal. The recommendation is to opt for long-lasting or waterproof products.
For the eyes, Bruna Malheiros suggests a simple trick to increase eyeshadow hold: “Gel highlighters can also be used as a primer on the eyelids. Just apply a thin layer, then seal with powder eyeshadow, which helps to intensify the color and increase durability.” On the lips, the first step is to apply a contour pencil, which helps define the shape and increases the hold of the lipstick. Then choose a long-lasting or waterproof lipstick.
After applying all the makeup, go back with the setting mist all over your face. “It helps to fuse the layers of makeup, restores vibrancy and increases the resistance of the skin. make“, explains Bruna Malheiros. To apply correctly, the recommendation is to keep the bottle approximately 20 to 30 centimeters from the face, spraying the product evenly. “I like to make X and T movements to ensure that the mist is well distributed over the entire skin”, advises the makeup artist.
Another important point is to let the product dry naturally, without spreading it with your hands, so that the fixing film forms correctly. And, finally, pay attention to quantity. “There’s no need to be afraid. The skin should be slightly damp so that the mist can really integrate all the makeup products”, says Bruna Malheiros. After a few seconds, when the product dries, the result is more vibrant skin, with a uniform finish and more resistant makeup throughout the day.
In addition to makeup, some simple care will help keep your skin beautiful throughout the festival days. During the event, one of them is to remember to drink water regularly. “In the rush between shows, it is common for us to end up neglecting hydration, but it is essential, especially in the heat, sun and many hours outdoors”, comments Bruna Malheiros.
When the festival ends and it’s time to go home, another important step comes in: cleansing the skin. Even with tiredness, completely remove makeup is essential. “Throughout the day, the skin accumulates makeup, sweat, sunscreen and pollution. Cleaning well helps keep the skin balanced”, explains Bruna Malheiros. After that, it’s worth betting on a good skincare nighttime focused on hydration and recovery, preparing the skin for the next day. After all, there are still many hours of music ahead!
