(Reuters) – Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Wednesday that Iran’s Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib was “eliminated” in an overnight attack.
There was no confirmation from Iran.
Katz said he and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu authorized the military to kill any other senior Iranian officials being targeted without needing additional approval.
