Miami – Lionel Messi has reached another milestone in his career and scored his 900th goal as a professional footballer. But because Inter Miami was eliminated in the round of 16 of the CONCACAF Champions Cup, there was no big celebration. The Argentine scored 1-0 in the 1-1 home draw against Nashville SC and, according to official counting, is now only the second player after Cristiano Ronaldo to reach the 900 goal mark. After the 0-0 draw in the first leg, Miami was eliminated on away goals. For Miami it was the last home game at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale after six years; the team is now moving to a new stadium with 26,700 seats.
