Acre enters a state of alert, in the early hours of this Friday (20), with the forecast of intense rain throughout the day. According to the meteorological warning issued by the National Institute of Meteorology (), the volume can reach up to 50 millimeters per day, accompanied by wind gusts between 40 and 60 km/h, a scenario that, although classified as potentially dangerous, requires caution from the population.
The combination of constant rain and moderate winds can cause occasional disruptions, such as flooding in vulnerable areas, falling tree branches and fluctuations in the electricity supply. There is also a risk of electrical discharges, common in periods of instability.
