US President says he will destroy Persian country’s power plants if demand is not met

The President of the United States, (Republican), profiled in Truth Social on Saturday night (21 March 2026) to threaten Iran. He stated that if the Persian country does not reopen the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, the US military will destroy the country’s energy plants.

Here is the message published by Trump: “If Iran does not completely reopen, without threats, the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours from this very moment, the United States of America will attack and destroy its power plants, starting with the largest.”.

The Strait of Hormuz is vital to the global oil trade. Around 1/4 of the total production of the commodity passes through there.
