Senate Committee expected to vote on new National Education Plan this Tuesday

The CE (Education and Culture Commission) of the Federal Senate included on the agenda this Tuesday (24) the vote on the new PNE (National Education Plan).

The project, which establishes the guidelines and strategic goals for the Brazilian educational sector for the next ten years, has a meeting scheduled for 10 am.

The text under discussion (PL 2,614/2024) is authored by the Executive Branch and reaches the Senate after being approved by the Chamber of Deputies last year. The matter is under the rapporteurship of senator Teresa Leitão (PT-PE), who also presides over the collegiate.
