The Court of Justice of Minas Gerais (TJMG) acquitted on Tuesday (24) a woman who mutilated the penis of her partner, identified as Everton Amado da Silva, aged 47, after an alleged case of sexual abuse against her own daughter. The mother was found innocent by the popular jury, made up of four men and three women. She was accused of qualified homicide, destruction of a corpse and corruption of a minor.

The crime took place in March 2025, in the Taquaril neighborhood. Everton had a relationship with his daughter and, according to the complaint, on the day of the crime, the mother would have put a sedative medicine in the drink and, after the man fell asleep, the woman would have started a series of attacks with a knife and a piece of wood. She allegedly cut off his genitals and then set fire to the body. The teenager was identified as an assistant in the crime.

The defendant denies that he drugged the man, but confirms that he stabbed the man. According to her, on the day of the crime, he arrived home drunk and, in the early hours of the morning, caught his partner on top of the child, with his pants down and trying to silence her. Judge Maria Beatriz Fonseca Biasutti dismissed the MPMG’s complaint as unfounded, resulting in the accused’s acquittal.
