WKStA brings charges against former finance minister Schelling and Siegfried Wolf


The Economic and Corruption Public Prosecutor’s Office (WKStA) is bringing further charges in the Casinos (Casag) case. Entrepreneur Siegfried Wolf is charged in connection with a tax case with, among other things, allegations of bribery and incitement to abuse of office. Former Finance Minister Johann Georg Schelling has to answer for attempted incitement to abuse of office. In addition, a former head of the tax office is charged with allegations of abuse of office, bribery and breach of confidentiality. The WKStA announced this in a broadcast on Thursday. The presumption of innocence applies to all of them.
