The election survey brought about a fundamental change: a party that many no longer expected would be forced into parliament!

The Progressive Slovakia (PS) movement would win the elections to the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic in March with a gain of 20.1 percent of the vote. The Smer-SD party would finish second with the support of 17.1 percent of voters. It would be followed by the Hlas-SD party with a gain of 8.7 percent of the vote. This follows from a survey by the AKO agency for Joj 24 television.

  • Progressive Slovakia would receive 20.1 percent of the vote in March.

  • The SD vote would finish third with the support of 8.7 percent of voters.
  • The Slovakian Movement Republika SaS KDH Democrats would also get into the parliament.
  • Progressive Slovakia would win 36 Smer SD seats and thirty-one mandates.

The Slovak Movement (8.6 percent) and the Republic (8.6 percent) would also get into the parliament. SaS (7.7 percent), KDH (7.2 percent) and the Democrats (5.8 percent) would also exceed the eligibility threshold.

The SNS (4.8 percent), Hungarian Alliance (4.1 percent), We are a family (3.9 percent) and Right to the Truth (2.3 percent) would remain at the gates of the parliament. Not even For People (0.3 percent), Common Sense (0.3 percent), KSS (0.3 percent) or Conservatives – Christian Union (0.2 percent) would get into the NR SR.

Based on the survey, PS would win 36 seats in the parliament, Smer-SD 31 seats and Hlas-SD 16 seats. With 15 deputies, both the Slovak Movement and the Republic would be in the NR SR. SaS would get 14 mandates, KDH 13 and the Democrats would have ten seats.
