O S10 diesel oil ended this week being resold by gas stations R$ 7.57, on averageaccording to data from ANP (National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels) released this Friday afternoon (27).
Since the start of the conflict in Iran on February 28, the price of fuel rose 24.3%.
- Average price per liter of S10 diesel on February 28: R$6.09;
- Average price of a liter of S10 diesel on March 27: R$7.57.
the price of the S10 diesel rose by around 3%. Between March 15th and 21st, fuel was resold on average for R$7.35.
In some municipalities, the average price of S10 diesel already exceeds R$9. This is the case of Cruzeiro do Sul (AC), Parintins (AM) and Porto Seguro (BA).
In the city of Ourinhos (SP), the ANP checked a station that was selling fuel for R$9.99.
Gasoline
Gasoline sold in Brazil has also felt the same. Data from the ANP indicate that the price of regular gasoline rose by around 11% in the period, ending this week being sold at R$6.98.
- Average price of a liter of regular gasoline on February 28: R$6.28;
- Average price of a liter of regular gasoline on March 27: R$6.98.
To mitigate the effects of the Iran conflict on prices in Brazil, on the import and sale of diesel and announced subsidies to producers and importers of the fuel. With the measures, the economic team estimates a reduction in the price per liter by R$0.64.
The measures relating to the subsidy for diesel oil for road use in the national territory were approved by the ANP this Friday (27).
The approved package includes the roadmap with basic guidelines and instructions so that producers, importers and distributors can adhere to the methodology for defining the subsidy reference price.
