A mining company Vale reported, in the 20F annual report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) this Friday (27) that extended the useful life of the Itabira mining complex until 2053compared to a previous estimate of 2041.
Despite the review, Vale stated that it does not foresee an increase in annual production volume,
With the changes, the mineral reserves declared increased by 52% to around 1.15 billion tonnes in 2025, compared to approximately 760 million tonnes in 2024.
