Former president of the Chamber of Deputies, João Paulo Cunha (PT) will promote this Saturday (28) a seminar on the challenges facing Brazil and the left in the current moment of global crisis.
There will be three debate tables, dealing with topics such as the impact on democracy, the balance of the Lula government and the organization of the left to win the 2026 election. Cunha must be a candidate for federal deputy in the election.
Also participating are the president of IBGE, Marcio Pochmann, former deputy and lawyer Luiz Eduardo Greenhalgh, the executive secretary of the Civil House, Miriam Belchior, senator Rogerio Carvalho (PT-SE), former minister José Dirceu and São Paulo councilor Helio Rodrigues (PT).
The event takes place at the headquarters of the Academia Paulista de Letras, in Largo do Arouche, from 9am.
