The Public Ministry of Acre () decided to extend the investigation into possible irregularities in the operation of two educational institutions in Rio Branco for another year. The measure was taken after the initial deadline for the civil investigation expired without all the necessary information having been gathered, according to information published in the agency’s electronic diary.
According to the order, the Public Prosecutor’s Office specializing in the defense of education considers it essential to complement the data already collected before advancing the conclusions of the case. To this end, it ordered the sending of letters to bodies such as Health Surveillance, the Fire Department and the State Education Council, which must present updated information within their areas of activity.
