Lula and Haddad cite federal resources in SP works – 04/03/2026 – Panel

A TV propaganda piece shows President Lula and the former minister talking about major projects in the state of São Paulo that rely on federal resources, such as the subway and Rodoanel.

The objective is to dispute their paternity with , who will be a candidate for re-election against Haddad.

In the video, Lula and Haddad talk on the phone. “Never has a federal government worked so hard for São Paulo”, says the former Finance Minister.

He cites “major investments and important works”, while images of the modernization of Via Dutra and the construction of the northern section of the Rodoanel are shown.

“A large part of the state government’s investments are with federal resources”, adds Haddad. Lula responds that “São Paulo deserves much more. Let’s go together”.

The piece anticipates the theme of the PT campaign in the state, in partnership with the Lula government. The PT uses the slogan “together for São Paulo and Brazil”.

The video will be shown on TV, within the TSE’s party propaganda time, and will also go to social networks.
